Jazsalyn is an artist working where fiction and reality collide. Through alternative media and re-indigenization her work considers new data models and memory restoration to preserve Ancestral Intelligence.

She is the Artistic Director of Black Beyond and lecturer at The New School.

RP 002

2020-2022, two-channel, machine learning video installation

REIMAGINE Prototype 002 / RP 002 is a computational study and an attempt to refigure lost, indigenous and extraterrestrial memory. RP 002 applies computer vision algorithms to juxtapose data archives from NASA Mars rover missions and The Metropolitan Museum African Collection.
